Details for Participating in the 10th Annual Conference and Retreat are below:
To participate in the conference, please consider submitting a proposal for presentation for the June 10, 2026, Currere Exchange Retreat and Conference (one day only, virtual only). Making a presentation is not required to attend the conference, but our goal is for everyone who attends the conference/retreat to present. PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY May 18, 2026.
Presentations will be made in a forum that is supportive and friendly.
All presenters will be listed in the conference/retreat program along with the working title of the project.
Presenters will be assigned to a small initial working group in a roundtable setting for presentation and discussion. We ask that all participants give an initial, short presentation to their working group and support other presenters.
Presentation projects can be at any stage of development. Some presenters arrive with submission-ready papers that they distribute for discussion. Others arrive with only a vague outline which they plan to flesh-out through discussion. Again, any level of project readiness is acceptable.
TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL:
Send an MS Word document to [email protected] with the following information:
Title of project
Author(s) and contact information (mailing address, phone, email)
Up to but no more than 250 words total (1 page) answering the following questions:
What is your currere project about?
How is the currere method used?
How "unfinished"/"finished" is the project?
What do you need help with? Or, what support do you need as you work?
